About Gentuso Photography
After dabbling in film photography for almost twenty-five years, since 2005 Tamara Gentuso has immersed herself in the world of digital photography. Self-taught and ever-learning, she can frequently be caught questioning fellow photographers for the latest how-to's and why's or googling a tutorial on some new Photoshop trick she's seen as she seeks to tackle the latest horizon. These forays into learning more about her craft will continue as long as there is one more technique to tackle.
Joining the professional ranks several years ago, Tamara particularly enjoys employing a photojournalistic, or documentary, style of coverage for events such as weddings or other special occasions, dramatic and musical productions, festivals, conferences, etc.
In the last two years, in addition to the many weddings, conferences, and community events she had documented, Tamara has been privileged to photograph overseas for a humanitarian aid and medical NGO, and has also published several photobooks for this cause.
